If you discover that you have created two contacts in CentralPlanner, you can merge them into a single contact. This means that one person is not simply deleted, but the information of both contacts is merged into one.
To merge duplicates, go to the contact's page and click on Edit contact.
Select the link merge this person with its doublets on the top of the page.
Various criteria such as first and last name, telephone number and email address are checked. You choose which person should remain as the “winner”, i.e. which data, if duplicate data is available, is considered the current data (e.g. if a private cell phone number is stored for both).
